Welcome Beacon of Hope Robotics Team!

November 15, 2016

Sunday, Nov 20, for 11 am worship and lunch, welcome two staff and three students from Beacon of Hope Secondary School (BOH) in Soroti, Uganda. Moses Isingoma, Edward Egwalu, Denish Oleke, Moses Ogwang and Daniella Perpetwa Asio, members of award-winning school robotics team, are visiting Seattle for a competition and coaching at Kings Academy in Shoreline. Plymouth Church provided full scholarships to BOH through Pilgrim Africa in February, 2015 for four other students: Sarah, Suzan, Eramus and Keneth who are now completing their second year of school. Keneth is on the robotics team but sadly will not be visiting this time. Please take this opportunity to get acquainted and learn more about our guests, their life at Beacon of Hope, their faith and their dreams. If you wish to attend the robotics competition in Shoreline, Saturday, Nov 19 or send letters to students at BOH, please contact Carol Mooney: CLMooney08@gmail.com.
