Starting this Sunday at 9 am, the six Sundays in Lent offer Prayer Around the Cross, a contemplative service for all ages on the theme “Hunger for God.” Gather in a candlelit Hildebrand Hall, light a candle and pray for one another. Sing courage into our lives as part of prayer. Sung prayer is the whole person praying, holding each other in our heart's longing and walking with Jesus to the very foot of the cross.
Be present with us in this 35-minute worship, as you enter and exit in silence. If young children wish to participate for a shorter time, they may light a candle and leave as needed.Child care is available. Come, be a light in the darkness!—Kyna and Jamie ShillingSubscribe
