Dove Making Workshop this Sunday: We Need Your Hands!

March 28, 2017

Paper doves will fly again, and we need your help to create them at 12:15 pm, this Sunday, April 2, in Room 221. Bring a sack lunch if you wish. Our goal is to make enough to hang around the perimeter of the Sanctuary in vertical columns. Using beautiful, Islamic patterned paper, we celebrate our connection with the Downtown Muslim Association. The dove installation offers a symbol of solidarity to connect our Eastertide and Pentecost with their Ramadan celebration. If you are unable to make it this Sunday, consider helping us install doves Saturday, April 22.
