Kids Paint by Feel

May 2, 2017

Sunday, April 30, K-5 students welcomed Rev. Steve Davis. Steve sat with the kids and told the story of how he was called by God into ministry from a young age and how he then became a pastor at age 19 and served churches in Texas before finding his way to Seattle. He made sure the kids knew that God's call can come from anywhere and how important it is for Plymouth to be a place that welcomes ALL people!

Ann Palmason finished the class with a beautiful project called “blind art.” Kids were encouraged to close their eyes and paint with their fingers on the paper after being given the concept of “wind.” The children loved the challenge of creating with their eyes closed and working with their fingers and imaginations.
