Plymouth Delegates Attend PNW-UCC Conference Meeting

May 2, 2017

Delegates from Plymouth attended last weekend’s Pacific Northwest United Church of Christ Conference Annual meeting including Rev. Kelle Brown, Rev. Steven Davis, Al Wallace (Moderator), Lori Kaid (Vice Moderator), Jennifer Castle, Briana Brannan (Frenchmore), Kyna Shilling, Medora Moburg and Debbie Baden.

Lori, first time delegate, said, “Have I said how much I love the UCC? Respectful of all, forgiveness, acceptance, love. These are the first words I noted in my notebook, as a first-time delegate to the Conference Annual meeting. Thank you, Plymouth. I am honored to represent you – a lot to absorb and just listen in grace. It was an opportunity for me to connect with others from the Northwest who share our values and walk in the grace of God. The focus of this meeting was Vitality; the intersection of the act of justice, love/kindness and walking humbly. As we move forward as a congregation together, what we do and how we do it is important. I look forward to being a part of this with you.”

Briana Brannan (Frenchmore), also a first-time delegate, said, “It’s great to see how Plymouth is connected to the other 80 congregations in our conference. Sharing our resources, gifts and prayers with one another helps strengthen us to collectively live out our call to humble hospitality, radical inclusivity and courageous love.”
