Congregational Vote this Sunday

May 16, 2017

Thank you to all who participated in congregational conversations at Plymouth, Horizon House and neighborhood groups regarding changes in by-laws, collaborative ministry and calling ministers Rev. Kelle Brown and Rev. Steve Davis. These conversations are integral to creating vital community and moving forward with God’s grace and guidance.

Following 11 am service this Sunday, May 21, in Hildebrand Hall, Plymouth congregation gathers together for lunch and to vote on by-law changes. Updates and changes allow for the additional collaborative ministerial leadership model and other language to reflect current operations and governance needs.

Questions and answers from conversations are posted below and available at the church office. Complete document of by-law changes, will be available online this week, with copies in the church office.

Youth “Game Gathering” and child care are available during the Sunday, May 21 all-church vote. School age kids may pick up food from the noon luncheon in Hildebrand, then head to Room 221, where board games and supervision will be available. Kids are also welcome to bring computer games. Pre-school age child care is available in first floor pre-school rooms. Please contact Jamie Shilling, 206.948.5725.
