Join others from Plymouth Saturday, July 22, for low tide exploration with Plymouth’s Gretchen Frankenstein and her husband Buzz, both knowledgeable and experienced educators. Check out Buzz’s blog: buzzmarinelife.blogspot.com.
Meet at 8:45 am, Saturday, July 22 at the south end of Constellation Park, located at Alki south of the lighthouse. This is an urban beach—you literally park and walk down to the beach. It’s also a rocky beach, which is where all the (marine life) action is.
Please bring boots or water shoes and plan to get wet up to at least your ankles. Bare feet are forbidden, as barnacles will shred them. If warm and sunny, bring hats, sunscreen, etc.
From the West Seattle Bridge:
Take the Admiral Way exit
Follow Admiral Way up the hill, then down the hill all the way to 64th Ave SW.
Turn left on 64th, then left (south) when you get to the water and park.
Meet at the bench near the sidewalk.
All are welcome. Contact Mike Pierson if you need a ride (MikePierson2@gmail.com 206.527.3253.Subscribe
