Family Camp Brings Plymouth Together

August 1, 2017

From July 16-22, 90 Plymouth campers of all ages gathered on the shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene at Camp N-Sid-Sen. We explored the theme “A Life in Common” from Acts 2. Our intergenerational community ranged in age from 0 to 89. We deepened our faith and bonds as we conversed together, ate together, sang together, played together, swam together and even experienced an impromptu dance party together! We were blessed by the gifts of Pastor Steve and Pastor Kelle as they each devoted part of their week at camp.

Here are a few quotes from those who participated: “I loved the talent show!” “Highlights for me included worship every morning and the Polar Bear plunge.” “It was nice to meet other Plymouth people in an intimate setting.” “We had great leadership from Kelle and Steve.” “Productive and lasting…” “The whole week flowed seamlessly!”

As a unified group, we experienced the strength and beauty of our Plymouth community. In this collaborative, loving spirit, let us move forward together into the fall; Thanks be to God! –Jennifer Castle, Director of Faith Formation
