With sadness but great appreciation, Plymouth Healing Communities says goodbye to Executive Director Hillary Evans. Hillary is moving to Tucson, Arizona in November. She served as PHC Executive Director since 2015. The PHC board’s October meeting provided an opportunity to thank Hillary and celebrate her many contributions to PHC.
From the beginning, Hillary brought great passion and commitment to PHC’s mission. She has been an outstanding “story-teller” about Plymouth’s mission of providing supported housing to PHC residents — always authentic, engaging and persuasive. Hillary understands and has tremendous heart for PHC residents, including great empathy and ability in particularly challenging situations. During her time at PHC, Hillary also strengthened existing organizational partnerships and developed new ones. She made numerous operational improvements, too; one that touches many is the complete re-design and re-programming of the website, www.plyhc.org.
We will miss Hillary and wish her the very best in her new endeavors.
Longtime PHC board member Catherine Walker will serve as PHC's Interim Executive Director. Catherine is the former general counsel of REI, among (many) other things. We are grateful for all the strengths she brings to her new role. –Pam Mitchell, President, Plymouth Healing Communities
