Plymouth Church UCC joins forces again with Town Hall Seattle to celebrate Southwest Youth and Family Services in an important upcoming event, “It Takes a Village: Lessons from Teen Parents on Resilience and Community,” at 6 pm, Sunday, March 18 (doors at 5:30 pm). examines the role society plays in supporting and/or ostracizing teen parents
looks at Washington State’s teen parenting rates
examines what supports are working for young parents and what supports are still urgently needed in our state
celebrates family in all its diverse forms
celebrates the resourcefulness and resiliency of the human spirit in general, and of young moms in particular
