Nurture Bodies and Souls

February 27, 2018

Would you like to join these Plymouth folk who help provide suppers once a month for Immigrant and Refugee youth (under 21) who are here without their families & some of their Foster Parents. Some of the older youth are living independently while working with staff members and receiving support as they prepare for independence. Between learning English, full-time school, & maybe a job, these are busy kids. Once a month they gather for training workshops at Faith Lutheran Church (88308 18th NE) and there we serve the dinner. This is part of the "Refugees Northwest Foster Care (we changed our name a little while ago)" of Lutheran Community Services. If you would like to learn more and perhaps join us, please contact or 206 621-4867

Curious about Plymouth's Immigration Ministry Team? Visit their "INFORMATION TABLE" at the all Plymouth brunch on March 4 at 10 am.  Chat with members, and learn what the team has been doing.  Trainings, accompaniments, Starter Kits, Toy Drives, new King County Resolution, Foster Family Dinners; there is a lot going on.
