Good Friday: Risk and Revolution

Please join us at 12 pm, March 30, for what Rev. Kelle Brown has established as a powerful Plymouth Good Friday tradition, when seven women ministers gather to preach on The Seven Last Words of Jesus. Service will be followed by hospitality.

The Second Word: Rev. Bianca Davis-Lovelace: “Truly, I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.” Mass incarceration

The Third Word: Rev. Lina Thompson: “Woman, here is your son. Son, here is your mother.” Sex trafficking industry

The Fourth Word: Rev. Eliana Maxim: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Immigration/undocumented discrimination

The Fifth Word: Rev. Kelle Brown: “I Thirst.” Ecological devastation

The Sixth Word: Rev. Dr. Angela Parker: “It is finished.” Intersectionality & Inclusion

The Seventh Word: Rev. Dr. Linda Smith: “...into your hands I commit my spirit.”  Poverty & Inequality
