May’s labyrinth walk happens Thursday, May 3, between 10 am and 2 pm in Hildebrand Hall. Spring is here with temperatures finally warmer and longer days bring more light. Walking the labyrinth as a mindfulness practice invites us to look at how we’re living our lives. Truly seeing empowers us to change and discover where we can share our light in the world. What if we expand our focus to see the light in others?
We all know those people who light up a room just by entering it. It’s easy to see their light. When it isn’t so easy, when we have to search through differences, hurts and misunderstandings to see a spark, remember there is always a light; look for it. It is very powerful to know that someone ‘sees’ you and ‘sees’ your light. This spirit-lifting gift brightens the shadowed corners of our world. Join us; practice mindfulness as you walk the labyrinth.Subscribe
