Concert Benefits UCC Justice Leadership Program

July 9, 2018

All are welcome to attend a fundraising concert for the Justice Leadership Program (JLP) at 7:30 pm, Saturday, July 2, Keystone UCC, 5019 Keystone Place North Seattle, WA 98103. Concert features folk singer Charlie King and the duo, Rebel Voices (Susan Lewis and Janet Stecher) all known for their powerful, entertaining songs about economic equality, social justice and human rights.

The Justice Leadership Program, a program of the Pacific Northwest Conference of the UCC, provides an 11-month, hands-on justice leadership training program for young adults. Program includes housing, healthcare, transportation and stipend. They learn to do the work of justice through internships and classes. This year, JLP has seven interns; each works 32 hours per week in a regional justice organization. Together, they contribute 224 hours of staff time per week; a major contribution of the PNWUCC in to justice. In additions, they serve six UCC congregations.

Please help us promote the JLP work by coming to hear inspired, thought-provoking live music! RSVP to
