Lambert House, Plymouth’s current Change Grant recipient, seeks volunteers. Get involved! Their youth committee is currently planning the annual LGBTQ youth Halloween dance slated for Saturday, October 20, at All Pilgrim's Church (500 Broadway E), and the theme is "Supernatural." Listed below are some ways to help:
Folks interested in helping with any of these roles and seeing the event, as Joannie Stultz did last May at the Pink Prom, please contact Brandon Knox, Lambert House Program Manager: email@example.com
Another way Plymouth folks can participate is to apply for an ongoing volunteer role. Lambert House has 70 volunteers/week working with youth in various programs including chaperoning their drop-in center, providing dinner, facilitating groups, field trips and more. Everyone wishing to become a volunteer needs to complete a volunteer application, interview and complete several other steps including training. The one exception is that a team of people can work together to provide a meal once per month (or more often), and only one person from the team needs to go through the application and training process. More detail here: http://www.lamberthouse.org/volunteer/.
Plymouth Church is open to the public Thursday, February 14, beginning at 9 am.
Plymouth Church UCC follows the Seattle Public Schools schedule for weather closures/delays. In case of emergency, please contact Executive Minister firstname.lastname@example.org. Email messages will be checked regularly.
