Do you know a young adult who is looking for an opportunity to learn and serve for a year in Seattle or somewhere else in the United States? The Young Adult Service Communities (YASC) program offers a year of community living, leadership development, justice advocacy, and faith conversations.

We are currently seeking Justice Interns to serve with the United Church of Christ (UCC) in Seattle: September 3, 2013- August 3, 2014:

Justice Interns, ages 21-30, live in simple intentional communities of 3-4 people in Capitol Hill, on monthly stipend, with health insurance provided.

Serve 11 months at a Seattle non-profit agency (32 hours/week), & in leadership with a UCC church in Seattle (5 hours/week).  Includes weekly spiritual reflection, & a faith based vocational training course for justice leaders, in context of progressive Christianity.
